The Effect of Eating Organic
We know non-organic foods are treated with pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. GMO, or genetically modified, foods even produce their own pesticides.
But if we wash our produce, do these still get into our systems? Yes! Not only do we fail to wash all of the pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides off our produce, but the plant absorbed these harmful chemicals and they now remain in the water stored inside the fruit or vegetable.
